Celentano's

Description

Celentano’s, nestled within the historic Cathedral House near Glasgow Cathedral, is a modern Italian-inspired restaurant that blends rustic charm with contemporary elegance. The interior is warm and inviting, featuring natural wood, soft lighting, and a relaxed, open-plan layout that reflects the restaurant’s ethos of convivial dining. Housed in a Baronial-style building, the space is flooded with natural light and designed to feel both refined and welcoming - perfect for long, leisurely meals with friends and family.

Founded by chef Dean Parker and his wife Anna, Celentano’s is rooted in their shared love of Italian food and sustainable cooking. Dean, formerly of London’s The Dairy, brings a nose-to-tail, low-waste approach to the kitchen, using fermentation, preserving, and close relationships with local suppliers to craft seasonal, produce-led dishes.

The restaurant has earned significant acclaim, including a Bib Gourmand from the MICHELIN Guide, a spot in SquareMeal’s Top 100, and the title of Restaurant Newcomer of the Year at the Scottish Excellence Awards 2024. With its thoughtful cooking, warm service, and commitment to sustainability, Celentano’s has quickly become one of Glasgow’s most celebrated dining destinations.
