Located on the edge of the Merchant city with an extensive indoor bar area, lounge and outdoor area, Strathduie Bar is an iconic Scottish pub known throughout the city. History states that the Strathduie Bar was built in 1893 for publicans J & J McWilliam, wine and spirit merchants, and there has been a tavern on this site since 1840. More recently, the pub has been known for it’s great sing-a-longs, affordable drinks offerings and inclusive community atmosphere.
Strathduie Bar is a truly Glaswegian pub boasting with history and character that has only been enhanced since it's re-establishing in May of 2024. This dog friendly pub is located just off of high street, a stones throw away from Candleriggs and Trongate.
