The good chaps over at BrewDog have opened up their first food-focused venue in Glasgow's Merchant City - step forward, DogHouse.

Here, you'll find hearty grub - insanely-good old-time barbecue food and smoked meats perfect for meat-crazy people in the area. Wash it all down with something from the fully-stocked BrewDog bar - there's 25 taps of their freshest craft beer as well as a stellar selection of guest beers curated from their favourite breweries. Whatever you're having, enjoy inside or out - The DogHouse boasts a bespoke outdoor seating area for some open-air boozin'.

Their kitchen takes on Americana style meats in full force with smoked racks of ribs, mounds of pulled pork and burnt ends. The DogHouse is a place of big eats and messy bbq dishes where the only business you need to worry about is chowing down and chugging beers.

It's a great location in the Merchant city, and has lovely views of Hutcheson Street through the huge windows. I would recommend the Beer Can Chicken for two which is delicious and comes with sides. They offer a whole variety of board games, making this the ideal venue for a laid-back date night.

Drinks are great even for non-beerdrinkers. Food is incredible and comes in huge portions, the mac and cheese is possibly the best I've ever had, and the crack fries also deserve an honourable mention! Would be nice if the outside sitting area was round the side street where it's sunnier. Great place.
