Opening in time for the almighty Oktoberfest, Bavaria Brau Haus will be the City's biggest German themed bar to date.
Transforming an A-listed building in the heart of Glasgow City, this Bavarian beer hall is having 1 Million pounds ploughed into its construction. Taking inspiration from one of the most famous German beer halls, the Hofbräuhaus, this place will be transformed into an authentic cavern of traditional German physique. Spread over two floors with mezzanine seating, the interior decor will echo the ornate and distinguished design of classic Bavarian establishments with a bespoke ceiling mural being commissioned by Glaswegian artist Nichol Wheatley.
The food and drink will of course be the soul of this place where nothing but your typical gaff of Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle), Schnitzel (veal) and traditional Bavarian sausage so you can get your German fix right here in Glasgow. Remaining true to the birth place of Germany's biggest and most notorious beer festival, Bavaria Brau Haus will stock the 6 centre stage contestants when it comes to steins. So expect all the favourites, Lowenbrau, Hofbrau, Augestiner, Paulaner, Hacken-Pschorr and Spaten to be on tap with plenty more up their sleeve and an Alpine influenced wine list.
Bringing the biggest party spirit ashore from Munich, Bavaria Brau Haus will be as raucous and atmospheric as they come and a place for some no holds barred entertainment.
