Description

Transforming an A-listed building in the heart of Glasgow City, Bavaria Brauhaus takes inspiration from one of the most famous German beer halls, the Hofbräuhaus.

This place is an authentic cavern of traditional German physique. Spread over two floors with mezzanine seating, the interior decor echos the ornate and distinguished design of classic Bavarian establishments with a bespoke ceiling mural being commissioned by Glaswegian artist Nichol Wheatley.

The food and drink are of course be the soul of this place where nothing but your typical gaff of Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle), Schnitzel (veal) and traditional Bavarian sausage, so you can get your German fix right here in Glasgow. Remaining true to the birth place of Germany's biggest and most notorious beer festival, Bavaria Brau Haus stocks the 6 centre stage contestants when it comes to steins. So expect all the favourites, Lowenbrau, Hofbrau, Augestiner, Paulaner, Hacken-Pschorr and Spaten to be on tap with plenty more up their sleeve and an Alpine influenced wine list.
