More infoThe Tiki Bar and Kitsch Inn
Description
Do the hula and down a cocktail at this slice of Polynesian paradise in Glasgow City Centre. The South Pacific decor includes tribal statues, a tiki hut DJ booth, rattan walls, a splattering of hula girls, wicker peacock chairs and bamboo galore. Cocktails are the drink du jour in this joint, all coming in an authentic ceramic tiki mug - some even come with fire for added volcanic drama. The crowd here are all out for a good time, a mix of the young and the not so young, taking in the quirky tropical vibes and the toxic cocktails with a soundtrack from some of Glasgow's top DJs.
Upstairs restaurant the Kitsch Inn dishes up Thai cuisine with the same party banter and strong drinks. This time the theme is sixties suburbia, with retro decor and the tunes to match. The beer garden outside ensures the island vibes continue al fresco when the sun shines. A strange, quirky, contrasting venue, with fun times to be had by all.
