Part of the jewel in Merchant City's crown, Tellers Bar exudes all the opulence and glamour of The Corinthian Club. Decadent surroundings and delicious drinks, this is the place to do baller on a budget. It doesn't get much plusher than this; sky high embellished ceilings and a glass dome that seems to reach to the heavens, sofas you could sink into, thrones that resemble Fabergé eggs. Leather, marble, parquet, crystal, velvet and gold, (basically all the good stuff) have gone into making this one palatial pad.
Despite the luxe surroundings, the atmosphere itself is no-fuss. As one of the premier cocktail bars in Glasgow, a collection of elegant concoctions are served up throughout the day along with a thorough wine list and selection of draughts, bottles and spirits. The food menu is a mix of well presented seafood ad shellfish, with signature salads and grilled meats, making this a great choice for an afternoon tea, a boozy brunch or a long lunch. The clientele aren't the posers one might expect at such an establishment, most people are simply there to take in the view.
