Way overbooked! Crushing line dance? We were warned of lack of tables but not of gross shortage of chairs. Food order arrived, cutlery arrived no salt or pepper. Asked a girl with a cloth hanging from her pocket, she'd delivered the cutlery, she said she'd get it... eventually I saw her approaching the lovely lady at the podium, I went over said or foods going cold have you forgotten about us? She snapped that she had a table of disabled people to see to and stormed off? The lady at the podium went for seasoning for us kindly. So food was cold and soggy. This was a first time experience we were looking forward to, Country night out, singers from 6-8 were the only entertainment I can comment on, screechy singing of ABBA and other usual pub fair, she wore white country boots, maybe screeched one country song. Expensive waste of a rare evening out. That's my lowdown on the hoedown, perhaps ground floor area is better?
