It's had queues 'round the block since it opened in December 2012, but Glasgow's most famous takeaway decided to get permanent digs in 2013. Buddy's BBQ and Burgers dishes up the same famed burgers and house-smoked favourites that have drawn hoards to its tiny Shawlands shopfront alongside a fully licensed bar attached and room for up to 100 people to park up and enjoy the fare. 

The bar serves up what Buddy's describe as Glasgow's best selection of American craft beers, alongside an extended menu of classic barbecue dishes and Southern soul food. The interior, like the food, is an ode to America, with a 1950s roadside diner theme; think red leather booths and brick walls and old movie theatre signage.
