It’s happening for 2 nights only!
“Love Me Like A Chai Tea Latte” is happening on Tuesday 13th and
20th of August at 8pm at the fabulous Lighthouse Bookshop!
This show is all about the weird dates, dating racism, the things
that made me gay to the worst idea of coming out. Plus throw in a
bit of Bollywood and Shirley Bassey.
Fusing together comedy and poetry whilst sharing stories of my
life
Sanjay Lago is a Glasgow born Punjabi neurodiverse gaysian actor
writer and comedian. He has worked extensively in theatre and
screen for 13 years, venturing into comedy in 2022. He is a
graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. In his free time
he likes to read and watch doctor who.
Part of the proceeds will be going toward the fab Lighthouse
Bookshop and their Pay It Forward intiative so people can be able
to purchase books and not worry if they can afford.
This show I performed first at The Vaults Festival in London
2023 before a short stint at Fringe and then randomly at The Comedy
Store in LA.
I am excited to bring this show back and hope you will join me for
an hour of hilarity and spicy chai.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
