McGonagall's Gin & Whisky Emporium

Description

Formerly known as The Villager, McGonagall's Gin & Whisky Emporium is the quirky cocktail bar located on the historic George IV Bridge.

Specialising in all things botanical, this cosy Old Town spot boasts one of the city's most extensive gin lists, with over 100 different varieties to choose from. Guests can also get stuck into a selection of traditional Scottish dishes, from homemade haggis bon bons to roasted scallops and venison burgers topped with lemon mayonnaise and pickles.

Fronting a full lineup of events, McGonagall's hosts a weekly pub quiz and also rounds off the weekend with 'common room Sundays', complete with roaring fires, board games and top student deals. And when the Six Nations rolls around? Fans can expert wall-to-wall coverage of all the games, with discounted pints and tasty half time bites.
