Christmas at Teviot
Stained-glass windows, beautiful historic architecture and a festive feast in a room of your own. If you’re planning a Christmas party in Edinburgh, Teviot gives you a setting worth celebrating.
Located in the heart of the city, Teviot brings character to everything from a Christmas lunch with colleagues to an evening of dinner, drinks and dancing. Choose the West Reading Room for 40–80 guests or celebrate on a bigger scale in the impressive Debating Hall, accommodating 80–140.

Enjoy a private dining room, a three-course festive meal and Christmas décor, with lunch and dinner bookings available. -
Celebration Package | £65 per person
Make a night of it with private dining, a three-course festive meal, half a bottle of wine per person, Christmas décor and a DJ after dinner. -
Mince Pie Drinks Reception | From £12.50 per person
Prefer a relaxed festive get-together? Enjoy a private space, mulled wine, mince pies and shortbread for groups of 25 or more.
The festive menu includes orange and herb-glazed turkey with cranberry-port jus, herb-crusted salmon with champagne sauce, and a winter vegetable and chickpea roulade. Finish with chocolate Yule log, traditional Christmas pudding or mango and passion fruit pavé, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices available.
Our dedicated Events Team will help bring everything together, from personalised place cards to arranging entertainment. You can also add canapés, charcuterie platters or wine upgrades to make the occasion your own.
And your celebration gives something back: Teviot is part of Edinburgh University Students’ Association, a registered Scottish charity supporting Edinburgh’s student community.
Christmas packages are available from 1–20 December 2026. Dining and Celebration Packages require a minimum of 40 guests.

With high ceilings and historic character, this private space offers a more intimate setting for a festive lunch with colleagues or an evening celebration with friends. Accommodating 40–80 guests for Christmas dining, the room is exclusively yours, giving everyone space to relax, catch up and enjoy a three-course festive meal together. Our £45 per person Dining Package includes private dining, a three-course Christmas meal and festive décor. For celebrations that carry on after dessert, choose the £65 per person Celebration Package, which also includes half a bottle of wine per person and a DJ after dinner.
