Boteco Do Brasil adds a slice of Latin excitement to Edinburgh’s historic Old Town.

The venue channels the spirit of Brasil into its every feature, from its indigenous South American cuisine, to its party atmosphere built through a mix of reggaetón, salsa, bachata, Latin Dance and African tunes. They’re known to host many exciting parties, filled with a healthy dose of caipirinhas, as well as salsa nights and live music evenings, which makes sure something is always being celebrated within their walls.

The cocktail list is as fun as the venue, with additions like Reggae Rum Punch and Watermelon Martini adding a welcome injection of South American sunshine into the Scottish capital. For food, the menu is populated by many Brasilian signature staples, such as Feijoada, a stew made of pork, beef and beans, or Moqueca, which spices up Scottish fish with tomatoes, onions and garlic.
