Description

The Blind Pig is a hidden watering hole, secretly tucked away in Dublin's city centre. This swanky speakeasy is known for the quality and artistry of its cocktails - each of which truly evokes the mood of the 1920s prohibition era.

Naturally, when visiting this bootleggers haven, expect to find candlelit tables, rich deep mahogany furniture and prohibition paraphernalia. Everything about this venue is super secret - even the menus are hidden in the pages of old books set on the tables... a nice touch! Of course, the roaring twenties theme runs strong here, all of the bartenders are dressed charmingly, donning shirts, ties and sleeve garters.

Naturally, you're probably raring to know about cocktails... rest assured, they're even better than you'd hope. The Blind Pig's impeccable quality of beverages is thanks to the internationally award-winning mixologist Paul Lambert. With his expertly-crafted cocktail menu, everything here promises to tantalise the taste buds of cocktail lovers.

We loved the idea of this and we were so excited. Unfortunately, it was a let down. The air conditioning was on sky high beside us - as it was such a cold night outside we couldn't really understand this!? I asked the waitress to turn it down and she did so but there still remained a cold air coming from it. I thought she might move us but instead reassured us that it was turned off at his stage. I continued my meal with my coat on. I received a lovely starter of deep fried mozzarella - it wasn't what I ordered but I didn't return it as I had already had to annoy the waitress twice at this stage ref the air conditioning. My husband had the chicken wings to start and he said they were very mediocre. His main course of meatball spaghetti was totally dried out and very unpleasant. Our food came at us SO fast that there was simply no way it was cooked fresh!!! The drinks menu came inside a book but it was impossible to read the print. We didn't get to taste the cocktails as at this stage we were just so disappointed (and COLD) we just wanted to move on. The one word we both used to sum up the experience was a "gimmick". visited The Blind Pig on 23 Feb 2017

My party & I had a really fabulous experience. From impact of entrance to the food and staff - all were excellent. My sister in law mentioned that I was 'the birthday girl' in a throw away comment and waitress picked up on it & for dessert I was brought a dessert with candle to celebrate! A little embarrassing but a very nice touch. Cocktails were brilliant too & when I mentioned that I didn't like my cocktail too sweet a cocktail was made especially for me. This place is excellent & Ill make sure to be back ( if I can get a booking!) well done & thanks for the experience. visited The Blind Pig on 11 Feb 2017

I brought a group of friends to the blind pig after being there before myself and was some what disapppinted. Food was very average and we were disappointed to receive chips instead of the roast potatoes as per stated on your menu. When I asked the staff member she stated that there was none left, then I pointed out the person in front of me whom had beef skewers with roast potatoes and she then said she would bring me some. Not even an apology as I explained that there were people in the group who ordered chicken but don't eat chips. That is very bad service. visited The Blind Pig on 07 Feb 2017

Hey, no complains about the place and staffs, they were great but unfortunately our food wasn't the best. My partner could finish his chicken skewers, he found a very strong taste of fish on it., and he hates fish, so i tried, and really, looks like the chicken was cooked with some kind of fish oil. Other than that, was good. Margaritas were lovely. Would go back for drinks for sure. x visited The Blind Pig on 04 Feb 2017

Very dissapointed. Second time to visit. First time was excellent. Last night food was very poor, chicken wings were served in about 3mins and very average. Ham on pizza was processed with no flavor. I selected ham and mushroom pizza as the flavour from the ham was lovely the last time. Drinks were overpriced. I requested gin and elderflower tonic and this is classed as a cocktail and 12.50 each. Don't think I would return visited The Blind Pig on 04 Feb 2017

I love this place, been a few times now. The cocktails are exceptional and the knowledge and enthusiasm of the staff is second to none. However, the food let's it down, last visit we decided to have desserts a pannacotta and a chocolate mousse (everything else on the dessert menu was unavailable) sadly both dishes were a huge disappointment, pannacotta sh I Uldale never be served in a glass and as soon as I tasted it is knew why, let's just say it wasn't a pannacotta . The chocolate mousse was grainy and really not pleasant. Now don't get me wrong I will be back for the cocktails, atmosphere and fun but I will have dinner somewhere else before hand! I'm not sure what the deal is with the food I'm guessing it comes from upstairs (Puccinos) but it let's the place down. I'll still be recommending the Blind Pig but for great cocktails only. Sorry guys. visited The Blind Pig on 27 Jan 2017

I had booked the blind pig for a group of 19 for my sister's hen. The reason I chose the blind pig was due to the quirky theme and the fab basement and secret entrance etc. I was extremely disappointed as we were put into a room above Pacino's which had none of the theme of the blind pig. We could have been in any typical restaurant and I was so upset. I feel I should have been advised at the time of booking that we would not be in the basement with the cocktail making and prohibition bar theme. I can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't experience anything of it. Our waiter however was amazing and couldn't do enough for us. His name was fredrico. visited The Blind Pig on 28 Jan 2017

Can't say that loud, so please don't tell the crowds hahah. It was out first time there and we found amazing the way you hid the restaurant. We had such a great time, the food was delicious and the drinks superb. And we were delighted to have Tequila helping us, she's so vibrant and caring. And also kudos for Paul, he knows his away behind the bar. Definitely will recommend (in private) to our friends. Thanks for the experience. visited The Blind Pig on 24 Jan 2017

Initially the experience was lovely, staff were very welcoming, and the aesthetics of the room were beautiful, after ordering food however my friend's plate arrived with pineapple on it (the menu didn't state that there was pineapple in the meal) and she is severely allergic to it. After a wait of almost 25 minutes, in which time the rest of the group had finished eating she eventually got her food, and the waiter serving was incredibly rude to her regarding the fact that she had to send back the food. Despite the staff now being aware of her pineapple allergy she still had an allergic reaction later in the night from one of the cocktails. Also unfortunately despite booking a table for a 2 hour slot, we were asked to move to the bar after an hour, and had to very awkwardly stand in the doorway for 5 minutes before we could take our new seats, we felt very embarrassed and annoyed that we were moved seeing as we'd booked the slot and already had a delay with our food. The food that we ate was very nice, and the cocktails were lovely, however the staff attitude and attention to my friends food allergies were poor and very disappointing. Very cute place but shame about their attitude towards customers. visited The Blind Pig on 21 Jan 2017

Great theming on the website and e-mail, spoilt by staff continually entering and exiting via the 'secret' door. Good food and prohibition style cocktail but poor attempt at a tiki cocktail when I went off menu. A massive disappointment.... To start with its near impossible to find,no signs nothing!you go through another restraunt, down some stairs and are faced with a book shelf...behind a picture on a wall is a push button to open the door....quirky yes,practical-not really!!We went in and were impressed its small, intimate and well a bit different, staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered a starter for my main which was buffalo mozzarella and meatballs it was lovely o couldn't fault it.My partner and two friends ordered the chicken skewers, they arrived and were raw....now the fact that they noticed it was raw was a miracle in itself because it is so dark in there you cant see what your eating....my friend used the torch on her phone. The meals were all taken back and we were told they would prepare fresh meals for them. The problem was that meant i was left to eat alone,When they returned with new meals these were cooked (barely) however the skewers were missing the sausages and the pineapple was not cooked, salad and potatoes were bland with no dressing!!More dissapointment!! The waitress did inform us that they would not be charging us for the 3 meals that were raw, thank goodness as we would not have been paying anyway! We all know that sometimes this happens and mistakes are made however serving raw chicken is just a massive no no....Safe to say it ruined our night and we wont be returning.I would Like to say that the place is nice and does have a trendy vibe, the staff are polite and friendly and as a bar i think it was lovely. But the food seriously let the place down and cannot be excused no matter what. visited The Blind Pig on 14 Jan 2017

Awesome venue, music, cocktails and staff. Food was fab but found it hard to make a healthy choice. I didn't want a big dinner with roast potato etc and thankfully I'd viewed the menu online and so knew there was pizza because we weren't given that menu. Salad options would have been nice with steak, fish, chicken, or vegetarian. I guess for me the menu choice just didn't match up to how awesome the place is. visited The Blind Pig on 14 Jan 2017

We have dined at The Blind Pig several times in the past and this dining experience was not the same. We brought our parents because we've told them many times how great it was and unfortunately we were all disappointed. The experience itself wasn't quite as exciting, the food was cold and our server was less than helpful. There was one gentleman, a manager I presume, who was very helpful when our wine order was wrong. I just wish the quality of food and service was the same as when they opened. visited The Blind Pig on 07 Jan 2017

We were so excited to try out the blind pig on Saturday the 7th of January. First off left at the door waiting with one greeting us for nearly five minutes. The restaurant was not even busy? Then when we were finally greeted by a very polite gentleman at the door and given lovely seats we met our waitress. Needless to say poor is an understatement. Waiting 20minutes for a drink, having to ask if we could order food, having to remind her of the drink order as left waiting again, , had to ask for water 3 times and very limited knowledge on cocktails and not able to recommend wines. Food was average and the cheesecake was so bad I had to send it back.Tasted like it had no sugar, resembled sour cream? To which the bartender answered the chief was hungover yesterday??? Extremely dissapointing! visited The Blind Pig on 07 Jan 2017

Very very hard to find! We spent half an hour trying to find it and when we called them for help it went straight to voicemail. Most speakeasys leave a clue of which building/basement they are in such as a symbol on a wall or window but there was nothing. Cocktails were great, food was just OK as it was quite expensive for what it was. visited The Blind Pig on 30 Dec 2016

We had a great night! I organised the night there for six other girls for the first night we were all back in Dublin and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The staff were superb; we sat at the bar and the waiter looking after us was great craic - he even helped us design our own drinks and he let me shake my own! We'll definitely be back again, we had a great time and the mystery only adds to the excitement of the night. 10/10 would recommend. visited The Blind Pig on 03 Jan 2017

The absolute best. From communications before arriving to leaving our table after our meal, everything was just perfect. First of all we couldn't find it, which is all part of the fun as it is a speakeasy?! It felt personal as not everybody knew where it was. The owner (I can't remember his name as we were in such awe of the place!) He showed us to our tables and explained how it was started etc. The food was unbelievable, the service was not to be faulted and you made our New Years Eve Trip something to remember. I have recommended you to everybody back in London! Must see hidden gem in the center of Dublin! Special thank you to Nancy who made us feel welcome from the moment we booked online! Had a fantastic night here end of December. Booked the upstairs private function room for dinner for 25 people for my husbands birthday. We had a section reserved in the speakeasy downstairs for an hour first where we sampled some pretty strong (and delicious) cocktails. Certainly got us in the party mood. Everyone loved the venue, the cool vibe, the set up. Food also yummy and having your own bar upstairs was brilliant. A special thank you to the fabulous Nancy who helped with the booking (and her patience for all my questions!). Also to our great Colombian barman (whose name I now forget - I blame the cosmopolitans,......). Will definitely be back and highly recommend. visited The Blind Pig on 30 Dec 2016

Brilliant service, atmosphere, and overall experience. It would have been nice to have more mocktail (none alcoholic cocktail) options available on the menu but we were told by staff that they would be happy to custom make drinks if we couldn't find anything we like (highly recommend the raspberry and lemon soda!) More veggie options on the menu would have been good see, especially as we had looked at the vast menus online. Overall though, an excellent night was had, the best way to roll in the new year. visited The Blind Pig on 31 Dec 2016

had expected to have a bit of an adventure finding the "secretive" speakeasy! in fact, you just go down a flight of stairs and push a sign!!! VERY UNDERWHELMING!!!! Once inside we were impressed by the decor JUST A SHAME IT WAS TOO SMALL TO RELAX. EVERYBODY WAS CRAMMED IN. we added 2 guests to our table but even without the extra people we would have been uncomfortable as we were eating in the bar area where there were customers hanging around!!! it wasnt the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for!!!! we were asked for our food order LONG before we could get a drink (which we finally got 20 minutes later! ) The food was "ok"! had better-had worse but the cocktails were very nice (probably the only true positive of the night!!!) we ate our meal and left, we would have stayed and enjoyed the music with a couple more drinks but where we were situated it wasnt possible as we were getting jostled by the bar customers! As frequent visitors to Dublin we wouldve liked to try the Blind Pig again on a quieter night but after this experience i doubt we would bother! Sorry to say this but we came away from the night massively disappointed. Let me say first and foremost that we found the service very good. Extremely friendly. Sadly that's about where it ended. Noise levels were insane - wall of sound in a very enclosed space, could barely hear yourself speak. The actual quality of the singing also left a lot to be desired but moving on... Starters of wings and carpaccio okay but latter lacked a bit of seasoning. Mains of chicken skewers and chicken and Parma ham were both cooked into oblivion. Chalk-dry and lacking any sort of flavour. Mash served with salad for the latter. Really? Cocktails were decent - the Bon Bon was very good as was the gingerbread. Unfortunately the noise levels were so extreme that we left before dessert which was a great pity as we had anticipated a unique evening. Couldn't anticipate returning. visited The Blind Pig on 29 Dec 2016

My expectations were very high, unfortunately I was really disappointed, the set menu included focaccia bread, homemade bread sticks and rustic bread to share. We got nothing, at 45 euros a head and service charge on top of that its expensive. Was asked how the cocktails were and replied honestly that they were below average, as enthusiastic cocktail-drinkers that choose to go to reputed places, they weren't particularly great. They SOUNDED fantastic. For example, the Barrel-aged Boulevardier. However, what I received was a Campari and sweet vermouth. There wasn't even a discernible hint of bourbon there. After we responded to a waitresses question about if we enjoyed it, she sent over a guy from the bar. Arms crossed the whole time, he seemed incredulous that the experience wasn't jaw dropping. He pointed out that the drink was made with equal parts of all ingredients. I responded that yes, considering it's based on a negroni, I was well aware, and it made even less sense that I couldn't taste any bourbon. He said that the Campari, though, has a 'very nice flavour', I agreed but pointed out again that it tasted like someone had forgotten to put the bourbon in. Essentially, he wasn't interested and skulked off shortly after, leaving us to wonder, why bother asking if you don't want to hear the answer? Decor and atmosphere great, cocktails average, service appalling. visited The Blind Pig on 10 Dec 2016

The hidden entrance was a lovely bit of excitement and exclusivity. The cellar is very comfortable and intimate and a great atmosphere. We had a cocktail each, both of which were very nice, but unfortunately that is where the positive experience stopped. We ordered the chicken stuffed with fig and wrapped with bacon, and the prawns and avocado mousse for mains. Both were disappointingly bland and there was only a tiny pot of avocado mousse with that dish, which seemed quite mean. Liked the atmosphere and cocktails, would return for those but never for food again which was bland and very disappointing for the prices charged. visited The Blind Pig on 30 Nov 2016

I first went here 2 years ago where we came in the back entrance.... we had to use codes to find our way inside. This part was really unique and exciting. Last night we just had to walk down a set of stairs from a busy restaurant- not exactly the same experience and in my opinion it doesn't feel like a speakeasy bar- the slinging doors are open that often that it takes away from the experience. However I will say that the drinks and starter were very nice. visited The Blind Pig on 25 Nov 2016

bitter-sweet experience: Five stars for the drinks, the wine and the amazing service. Three stars for the food: good starters and good steak (overcooked, even if I've ordered rare), terrible fries. One star for our table, which was just below a speaker and with live music at high volume was almost impossible to have a decent conversation without screaming. this was really a pain since it was supposed to be an intimate dinner. visited The Blind Pig on 19 Nov 2016

I so wanted it to be an amazing night. We went here previously for late drinks and got a feel for the wonderful atmosphere of the place, and so decided to come back for dinner. Sadly the dinner bit was a disaster in almost every way. We ordered from a fairly limited menu - to be understood since The Blind Pig is not really about the food - it's about the superb cocktails and ambience. 10 minutes later the waitress came back to tell me that there was no pork so would I have chicken instead. Fine, but would have been good to know before. 5 minutes later it transpired that they had 'run out of chips' and would we therefore care for mashed potatoes with our burgers. A bit of an issue since half our party had chosen the burger. Now the pork I can understand on a busy night but to run out of chips is to run out of potatoes - and that seems like monumental bad planning. The waitress explained that all the prep is done earlier in the day so we could have mashed or boiled potatoes but not fries. Since mash is not a great companion to a burger I asked if they could just fry/sauté the pre-boiled potatoes or peel some more potatoes and fry them. The waitress came back to say the chef had said no. Seeing our disappointment/incredulity the waitress sent for one of the managers of the restaurant upstairs that shares the same kitchen. When I tried to reason with him that it felt very apathetic of the chef not to try and do something about the situation, he cut me off mid sentence to say there was nothing they were prepared to do - his manner was cold, deeply unconcerned, and extremely rude. He turned away while I was still talking and marched back upstairs. I wish I remembered the name - this guy just shouldn't be in hospitality - he has no charm, no powers of empathy, or social ability - just cold and unpleasant. And since he is the face of the brand, he should pack up and leave/be asked to leave tomorrow. A disgraceful and unpleasant person who needs to work away from people. Now, had things got better after that, we might have been able to move on and enjoy the night. But sadly the chicken came out and it was still raw inside - which in a kitchen is negligent and dangerous, and so this just lowered the tone of the night even further. 10 minutes later however, a plate of chips arrived on the table - a God-send! Seeing how things were going, one of the staff, again whose name I don't know, had brought us some chips from a nearby chipper. To be fair, this was great service recovery and a much appreciated initiative. The waitress too was very apologetic and offered a complimentary shot, as did the barman. These people cared about their reputation and were proper service oriented people. Meanwhile two singers sang beautifully with great voices - a wonderful part of what so easily could have been a truly wonderful night. The problem was, the manager from upstairs was just so rude that the damage was too deep, and although we smiled and thanked them for the gesture, we all still had a very nasty taste in our mouth about the whole sorry charade. A message to the Blind Pig management - I think you should focus on what you do best - which are great cocktails - in my opinion your food offering is not on the same level, diminishes the whole experience, and ultimately risks damaging your brand. And sharing a kitchen leading to an overlapping management structure with shared responsibilities is always going to cause problems. Just offer cold cuts etc Despite this experience I would try it again, as there is a great customer-centric team there (with the critical exception of the horrendous manager from upstairs). But sadly we wouldn't come to eat again. I don't normally write reviews but since you asked for it, I thought the management/owners should know the whole story and I hope this therefore helps. Finally please note the two star rating reflects the overall night as marred by the unfortunate incidents. But if you had asked for star ratings on individual elements, (which I think would probably be better) it would be five stars each for atmosphere, cocktails, the service of the core team, the excellent singers, and a medal for the guy with the initiative to buy in the chips! visited The Blind Pig on 18 Nov 2016

Drinks and food were outstanding. Bartenders really know what they are doing. Only bad note to mention is that after the first hour we were there, we had to walk up to the bar to get drinks or even get our bill. Well aware that we had a late reservation, but it seemed that the only waitress running around was either serving food or cleaning tables that left. Totally understaffed in that manner. Lovely cocktails. Very pleasant service. Simple honest food- menu could do with enhancement- only drawback noise.... very loud music which meant a lot of people screeching over it to be heard. Ears got sore!! Perhaps adjusting speakers down a bit would mean people wouldn't have to shout at each other? But otherwise very pleasant night. visited The Blind Pig on 11 Nov 2016

Staff were lovely however not very attentive as had to ask for drinks quite regularly and slow with top up of water. Also we never got offered desert which was disappointing. Location was fantastic, ambience was amazing and singer too. Only recommendation would be to have some side options on the food menu, there was little to no veggies:) I will defo be back! visited The Blind Pig on 04 Nov 2016

The only issue I really had was that, I made this reservation a couple months ago. I clearly specified that it was for my 30th birthday and I asked for the birthday pana cotta. When it was time for dessert, I was informed that a large party had come in upstairs and there was no more left. What was the point of me asking for it in advance when the restaurant doesnt actually hold it for the people making advanced orders?? Other than that. The location is very cool! And the food was decent. The drink I ordered was good. visited The Blind Pig on 02 Nov 2016

The overall experience was wonderful. It was our first time in Dublin and we wanted something unique and different. The Blind Pig sure delivered. The atmosphere of the entire establishment is cozy and laid back with unique cocktails changing monthly. The food was delicious and came in just the right portion sizes for a starter, main and dessert. Would definitely go back and will recommend to anyone going to Dublin! I had heard amazing things about the Blind Pig and about it being the best speakeasy. I was a little disappointed in the way the doors just kept opening ; doesn't convey a very speakeasy feel. the staff were friendly however I was extremely disappointed in the manner our drinks were serve and the service overall. they were just put down on the table and when I asked which drink was what. I was told "i don't know I just bring them over" the service in this respect was poor and continued into the night; guessing which drink was which as the staff didn't seem to know, or simply putting the drinks and walking off immediately to avoid saying. visited The Blind Pig on 26 Oct 2016

Bitterly disappointed with the Blind Pig. We booked our table for 7.30pm arrived at 7.10pm and were asked to have a drink at the bar while our table was prepared which was fine. Still no sign of our table at 8.10pm so we spoke to the hostess (who seemed to have forgotten) as another booking came in at this time and were seated right away. When we were finally seated and began to order fillets of beef we were told they were no longer available. Ordered a burger instead only to be told they were sold out too. We paid our drinks bill and left hungry and annoyed. Didn't get much in the way of an apology. Only positive was cocktails were delicious and barmen were nice. Waitresses hadn't a clue and their attitudes left a lot to be desired. visited The Blind Pig on 30 Oct 2016

The cocktails were expertly made, magnificent creations. Very much enjoyed them, thank you to your gifted bartender. However, the only "fly in the ointment" so to speak was the music in the bar on the night. We both love music normally & we very much appreciate live music when out at night. I'm not sure why it was so unpleasant on this occasion, but the volume of the PA system was unbearable. It was very difficult and exhausting to try to have a coversation in that atmosphere. We had rather hoped to find a convivial but cozy environment where we could chat to each other over cocktails. Instead we spent most of it shouting at each other or sitting in exasperated silence. A huge pity as it could have been a wonderful night otherwise. We did politely ask the waitress if the PA could be lowered even a little. She went to enquire but returned with a flat out "no the volume cannot be changed". We were very dissapointed. As I said , we're not old folks who don't like loud noises...on the contrary we love live music and we go to a lot of gigs. But this by anybody's standard was unacceptably loud to a very unpleasant level given the acustics and shape of the bar. Overall the venue is a great one, the cocktails are outstanding but the atmosphere needs more thought in our opinion. With kind wishes visited The Blind Pig on 29 Oct 2016

Guys, if you want an honest review it ain't great, We got wrong drinks to our table after a long wait, it was corrected when we pointed it out, but then glass of Prosecco was flat and had to be sent back, got a new one and it wasn't much better. My Mezcal Mule was undrinkable, something was very off with it. When I sent it back and just asked for a vodka tonic instead, I got charged for the full price of Mezcal Mule. All this with people getting wrong orders for food beside us and people complaining about long wait for drinks behind us. It really felt like it was the first night for the entire front of house staff. Should have been so much better, especially at the prices being asked for cocktails. We were in and out in 15 minutes, won't be back. Sorry! visited The Blind Pig on 29 Oct 2016

The food was good but I've had better My fillet steak was order medium rare but on whole it was dry - well seasoned but dry I found the waiting staff inattentive The music in the venue was too loud - I felt like I had to shout over my dinner guest to be heard. For such an intimate restaurant I felt that the music was overpowering The cocktails were amazing if delivered incorrectly - I ordered a very sour whiskey sour with no egg white (personal preference) but it was delivered with egg white and it wasn't that sour I expected better of the Blind Pig I'm not sure I would be back Patrick visited The Blind Pig on 06 Oct 2016

This is the 5th or 6th time my partner and I have been at the blind pig. This time we had a cocktail-making class with Andrei (who we return for every time). It was low-key, interesting, full of atmosphere and an overall wonderful experience as usual. This place has everything you could want for a night out in Dublin. Music, great staff, unusual and encapsulating venue and great, great drinks. I would highly recommend this place to anyone over and over again. Angel visited The Blind Pig on 03 Sep 2016

Had a fantastic night in here over the recent bank holiday weekend ! Finding the restaurant itself was exciting and new! very cute, small but more than enough room. The Food and service was great, our waiter was very kind and helpful. Even though there was a good range of cocktails on the menu, i had something off menu in mind and the bar staff catered very well to my request. (highly recommend asking for a Singapore Sling). Couldnt have had a better night. definitely returning upon my next visit to Dublin !

I was in The Blind Pig last night with my sister for a cocktail making class- my birthday present to her. The fun all started with the fact that it was hidden behind a seemingly innocent cabinet. As soon as we walked in, a staff member welcomed us and chatted away while we waited for our class to begin. The class itself was taught my a man named Paul- a legend. It was refreshing to meet someone so passionate about what they do. He taught us two house favourite cocktails- one rum based, one gin based. Perfect since I'm a rum woman and my sister is a gin woman. Paul told us the backstories to each drink, which was really interesting. The experience was stand alone. Can't recommend it enough! Then came the food- a meats and cheeses platter with olives and garlic bread. Yum is all I can say. With this we ordered a Tommy Gun and a 50/50 Sazerac- both amazing! The whole night was a great experience, the best cocktails I've ever had, and I can't wait to go back! Róisín visited The Blind Pig on 06 Aug 2016

Went to the Blind Pig on Sunday night and couldn't recommend it enough. The waiter was so attentive making sure that we always had enough drinks and that our food was satisfactory (but not in an annoying way like other restaurants). He recommended what drink I should get and his recommendation was spot on! The cocktail was unreal. The food was excellent too, the minestone soup was the nicest I've ever had and the tiramisu was amazing also. I've recommended it to so many people. I had one of the best nights I've had in a long time. I would love to keep this place a secret and tell people don't bother going but that would be a rotten lie - Couldn't recommend it more!!

I went here for the first time this weekend with a friend of mine and we had a fantastic time. The main bar man (Paul I think) was so lovely and really made the experience! As gin drinkers we loved all of his suggestions most of which went off menu.... he then suggested a rum based cocktail, we weren't so sure but my goodness were we wrong!! I will most certainly be back for many more Corn and Oil cocktails - absolutely delicious. jen_srl visited The Blind Pig on 23 Jul 2016

Its definitely a great experience and DONT FORGET to try the Corn and Oil cocktail. Its unbelievable!

We booked the function room upstairs for a private party. We were met on Wicklow Street and taken in the back way which was hilarious! Most of the guests were very baffled and some even a little nervous! The room was lovely - we had our own private bar and barman, and our own toilets upstairs. We had ordered platters of food which were really delicious - pizza, bruschetta, grilled prawns and meat & cheese platters. Everyone had an absolute ball and I'm telling all my friends to book their private parties here!
