Thackeray brings delicious British food made from Welsh ingredients to Cardiff.

Taking over the site of former pub Sir Henry Morgan, Thackeray delivers a high quality dining environment in the redeveloped site, offering both a restaurant area, and outside space for alfresco dining, and a cocktail and prosecco bar. The venue itself is stripped back, with minimalist lighting and classic wooden tables and chairs, with inspirational quotes dotted around the whitewashed walls.

The heavily-Welsh menu is created using quality, locally-sourced ingredients, creating dishes like braised Welsh lamb with potato and leek rosti, and seared duck breast on a bed of black pudding. They also serve a variety of steaks that are hand-selected by trusted local butchers and cooked to order. For drinks, they serve a variety of wine, cocktails and beers.
