Thomas is the second venue from previous MasterChef: The Professionals star, Tom Simmons.

Located in the heart of upmarket neighbourhood Pontcanna, the menu here takes influence from French and British cuisine, with top-quality Welsh produce at its heart. 

Open Tuesday to Sunday, the weekend sees this place take a more relaxed approach to dining, with a drawn-out brunch menu full of classic egg dishes and a sumptuous Sunday Roast offering. Upstairs there is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar, serving a selection of hand-crafted sips and local ales. 

While some of the dishes on the menu mirror that at sister venue, Tom Simmons in London, others have been specifically created, taking full advantage of the fresh produce right on Cardiff’s doorstep.
