Description
One of the best pubs in Cardiff for live sport is The Old Arcade, a buzzing venue bedecked with rugby memorabilia from some of the all-time greats.
The Old Arcade is proudly patriotic, showcasing nothing but the best Welsh produce on its menu of pub classic fare. Expect the likes of burgers, cod & chips, lasagne and sausage & mash, and don’t forget you can get 2 selected meals for £12 if you’re dining on a weekday.
As for the drinks, you’ll find a strong squad of Brains Beers on the menu alongside a rotating list of guest cask ales well worth checking out. The pub is naturally at its most lively come matchday - especially if Wales are playing at home - and everything from rugby to racing, football to cricket is shown on their seven big screens. A must try next time you’re looking for a lively spot to catch the sport, DJs regularly play late into the night here so there’s every reason to stick around long after the final whistle.
