Had an amazing night for my boyfriends birthday 🎂. Had the silver package in the gold den. Would highly recommend going there. Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-11-25

Terrible venue, aggressive doorstaff, lazy slow table service and no aircon, over priced bottles that come to your table not in bottles atall but in plastic jugs, I believe the grey goose in these jugs was actually just house vodka. 90% male occupancy causig several altercations throughout the night. It was not an enjoyable experience atall. I will never return to glam Cardiff and would strongly advise nobody else to. Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-10-28

Worst club ever. Queuing system was an absolute joke. The door policy even worse. It’s seems they knocked back all the women and just let all men in. It was like a homosexual sauna in there. Have they not heard of aircon? The service was absolutely terrible especially when Charging ridiculous prices for alcohol. My £650 bottle of vodka came out in 4 plastic vases. My Dom Perignon and Ace of spades the same. I don’t even like champagne. I buy it to simply show off. How can I show off with plastic vases? An overall dreadful experience. I came out with empty pockets, covered in sweat, with no woman on my arm to show for it. I won’t be going back. Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-10-28

Yeah it’s a great place to go if you want a sauna at the same time... bottles to come out in plastic jugs like a kids birthday party... long waits for your drinks that I paid for with money I went and worked hard for... dodgy decorations that just don’t me head in & being littered with flyers to have a photo with “Jordan Valleys” 👀... yeah sign me up. Absolute sweat box they kept the aircon off all night to try and force everyone to buy more drink then when you did buy £250 bottles they came out in plastic jugs. Worst gaff ever Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-10-28

Extremely disappointing i will not be returning. Booked a VIP table with Louise for my Birthday on Saturday 30th September and paid £250 for a VIP table. Firstly when we arrived i was greeted by the most unhelpful and rude member of staff called Laura who didn't even say hello or welcome us but rudely said we was too late to even come in to the club. I explained i have not been given a time to be at the club i didn't even know there was a restriction on a time for the table seeing as i paid £250 ! Anyway after explaining this and offering to show the emails she shrugged and said just come in. As we walked up the stairs she stopped at reception to speak to her colleague about us and my group of friends so obviously extremely unprofessional! This automatically made us feel not welcome and defiantly not a VIP experience! We were shown to our table which was dirty and very disappointing to even be able to call that a VIP table is actually embarrassing. Laura then disappeared and i got her attention and asked for our bottles of vodka agreed in my emails with Louise. Laura informed us we couldn't have what I pre ordered as they ran out of stock! Out of stock of house vodka on a Saturday night? And i pre order them so that's extremely poor planning and ordering! She said we can have more expensive vodka if we paid more! i was appalled that there was no empathy or value for our custom for the already shocking experience or even good will gesture for the experience and service we were shown. I asked to speak with the manager who was outside. I spoke with Chris who was the only helpful and friendly staff member i met that night who also was appalled and embarrassed for the service and refunded me.- Although haven’t seen this credit to my account yet! Regardless we travelled form Weston-Super-Mare to celebrate my Birthday which was ruined by your staff and disgraceful service. Laura was most unhelpful and so rude to myself and group the way she spoke to me was so un professional and the way the staff made us feel we will never be returning. Really disappointing and embarrassing for your club. I look forward to hear back from you! Laura Hynds lahynds@gmail.com Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-09-30

I emailed Glam nightclub myself this complaint and I had no response so I'm now passing it onto you and trip advisor! Very POOR customer service! We arrived at the club at 10.30pm we had to wait an hour before going upstairs to our VIP booth. We were eventually allowed upstairs to our table around half 11-12, one of the bar staff brought over the mixer drinks and we all sat waiting for the vodka and x2 bottle of Proseccos. Half an hour later we still had no alcohol on the table. I then had to go ask for our alcohol to be brought over, the vodka was brought over and poured into a metal jug (not very glam). We then sat waiting another half hour for our prosecco which surprise surprise didn’t turn up and I had to go ask for AGAIN. I went to go to the bar again and ask for the x2 bottles of prosecco which we added on as an extra to our booking, I then explained I was very disappointed in everything we had experienced so far. Out of this, we were given another bottle of prosecco which was a kind offer although I’m sure a lot of free prosecco was given away as I’m aware it was not just our table which was complaining. I later realised we were not even in the Gold-den which I had originally booked, we did have the choice to move but declined as we already had half our drinks and it would have been too much hassle to move everything. We travelled all the way from Woking to Cardiff to have a good night out in Glam for a special occasion, I feel too many VIP tables were booked that night and not enough staff was present. We were given no VIP treatment, we did not feel special or looked after at all more like a burden! It was my birthday I had gone through all the effort to arrange this evening for myself and my friends, it seemed none of the staff could be bothered to serve us. The whole ordeal stressed me out so much I couldn’t enjoy my night when I should have been the one to relax and have a good time with my friends. Louise was the person who brought over the drinks when I complained and offered the bottle of prosecco, she did what she could but it also seemed she had to deal with the many other VIP tables in the section who was probably also complaining there is only so much one person can do. Nobody came to check on us to see if we wanted refills for our mixer's or to see if we wanted any other drinks. All in all, I am very disappointed with what me and my friends experienced, and I do hope it’s not that unorganised every weekend. Many thank's Jessica Gontar Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-09-16

I was quite disappointed with my visit on 5th August. I was told to arrive at 11 for my booth, I organised decorations to be arranged and 2 booths. When we arrived we were told our booths were not ready and showed to the bar where we proceeded to buy drinks. After asking after 10 minutes how long it would be I was told there were technical difficulties and it would be 15 minutes. After waiting even longer for the booth to be ready, whilst spending money at the bar when we could have been drinking our alcohol from the package, we were escorted to the gallery and shown the booth and decorations. I immediately complained to the woman saying that although the decorations were exactly what we asked for, it was on one booth in the corner which means our partying 23 would have to be split whilst there was 2 booths next to each other available. She was very apologetic and moved the decorations to the two booths. It then took a further 10 minutes before I had to ask where our alcohol was. I also requested for different alcohol which was approved over email which I mentioned, then was told it wasn't possible, so I showed the email and was told it was okay and she apologised again. It then took a further 20 minutes for mixer to arrive. We were told, quite rudely, to exit the gallery at 2am to which I asked if we were being provided with another booth as we were told we would have a booth until 3am Someone went to organise us one and came back showing us a booth big enough for 5 people, for a party of 20+. Also the bouncers on the door were extremely rude and too forceful on arrival, door staff were also very rude for no reason. Overall, my experience was not an enjoyable one and I probably will not be returning to glam or recommending it to anyone else Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-08-05

Absolutely Terrible service, we booked a booth for my friends hen party and paid in full before we got there. When we arrieved they advised me I had only paid £75 and the remaining was due. The table was not ready when we were there. It took 40 minutes to resolve before we go the drink we had ordered which is totally unacceptable. I would not recommend it, terrible venue Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-07-29

Well! where to start?!! I booked a VIP booth for my best friend's hen party. On our arrival, we were showed to a first floor booth and were advised that our booth was on the second floor that was not open yet. So we had paid a deposit and were asked to pay the remaining. Which was not an issue until none of the card machines were not working, I had to wait around for ages to then be told I would need to leave the club and get the money from a cash machine!! As we had to wait for them to tell us this, they only provided the mixers and a cheap bottle of perry to keep a hen party occupied, Until i had returned from the cash point in town centre! Then we were showed a list of drinks and told to pick one - our budget was £150 and there was only two options- vodka or champagne, Something we can buy in the supermarket for £40! So hardly paying £90 for a "hostess service" that she only appeared when we had the cash! and then never saw again apart from the next issue......!!! We were happily dancing downstairs until about after midnight when the lights came on and the door staff were telling us to move to floor 2 as floor 1 was shutting? So i had to gather what drinks I could carry in the ice bucket and make our way upstairs. I bumped into the "hostess" and asked where our booth was- only to be told we didn't have one on this floor...!! WTF! I am not an angry person but this was seriously taking the mick! I was stood there with a heavy ice bucket in my arms and the hen carrying a bottle of vodka- we were expected to be OK with this? I informed them that I was told when we came in that our booth was on floor 2- so they must have given it to someone else! In the end after arguing with looked to be a manager (she looked like she was dressed for clubbing not managing!) anyway they managed to split a bigger booth into 2 tables so we had to share with a group of lads, This was not an issue but we never saw any waitress or hostess again after they dumped us at this table, Was throughly disappointed that this happened and luckily enough the hen had a good time in the end! but that was thanks to her friends and not the service from the night club we had expected, Next time we visit Cardiff again, we will be avoiding Glam.........! Very empty, and the bar staff were still very slow upon serving us. We came here for a stag do, and along with another Hen do, we all left, as despite the lack of people in the vicinity, service was poor. Unlikely that I will be returning! Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-06-17

I pre- booked the VIP gallery package for £250 and I was extremely disappointed with the entire package I paid for. I was assured when I booked via phone that I would have birthday decorations and a cake as part of the package, instead I disappointed to walk to our table to find no decorations and no one had a clue about any cake of prior arrangements, I had discussed with you on the phone. I stated twice via email and over the phone to ensure the cake and decorations would be arranged for us. The major issue we had with our booking was that we paid for this VIP experience, that included waitress service yet we never got served! I was told by one staff member “ my girls have gone missing, I can’t find them”. Frankly this is not acceptable if we pay for waitress service I expect to be served and not to have to wait one hour for a drinks menu firstly and secondly to line up at a bar to order more mixers, shots etc. The other issue was we notice this was labelled as a “VIP” room yet it seemed anyone without a VIP wrist bands were let in, so I really don’t know what we paid for to be honest. No waitress service , no VIP experience which included the cake and decorations and no Moet bottle which was included in the package but we didn’t receive. When I complained on the night , to the manager she unprofessional with no answers. We had such an awful experience that we had to leave, we ended up not finishing our premium spirit bottle, not drinking our shots as you ran out of mixers and without the Moet bottle that was included in our package and as stated before no waitress service! To top the whole night off, I paid the outstanding balance for the table in cash which was requested before we had any drinks. Instead of being provided with the change for the amount I paid the waitress just disappeared with my money! Terrible club, not glamorous at all definitely the worst club I have been to! I would rate it 0 stars but this review makes you provide at least 1 star. Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-07-01

We really appreciate all attention that the great team at Glam gave our group on Saturday night for the Champions League Afterparty. Louise Whittaker is fantastic in fulfilling our brief and our waitresses and hostesses (I didn't get their names!) couldn't have been better! Thank you so much everyone! Disappointing. All bottles ordered were decanted in to plastic bottles, thus changing the taste af the champagne and leaving us having to smell the plastic bottles to establish which ones were lemonade and which were vodka. The staff even had difficulty with this as they almost cleared our champagne away thinking it was Red Bull!!!! Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-04-29

Glam nightclub itself was great, Louisa who organised the party package for us was amazing and very helpful. However, the waitress' that we got for our tables were not helpful and kind off rude. I paid £185 to pay off my remaining £175 bill, I was the best man off a stag do. As you can imagine I had spent loads off money that day and needed £10 change back. I asked several times very nicely, and every time they would say yes 1 minute but never do anything. This made me feel uncomfortable constantly asking, when usually I would have just left it, Finally, after an hour I went to the bar to ask again, a new waitress made me wait another 20 minutes. When I asked again for my change, she was very rude, saying youre causing trouble over £10 and then just threw the money at me. Apart from that incident, where I waited nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes for my own money, it was a good night. Visited Glam Nightclub on 2017-04-08

. Music is good and has a good vibe but Be carefully here that they charge you the right money. I had a voucher for two for one cocktails so asked for he drink menu ordered my drinks then when it came to paying the guy at the bar tried to over charge me by a £1 each drink. Then when I called him up on it saying it was ageist trade and standard and wrong to deceive drunk people he threw my money on to the bar table and said it was tough. Disgusting service! A girl then did sport the problem for me but they continued to sell drinks above the price advertised. This problem only seam to occurs on Saturday for for a good night out her go on a Friday.
