Description
Cambridge Chop House is the first of two chop houses in the centre of Cambridge. Situated in the heart of the city, it benefits from spectacular views of King's College Chapel. The restaurant continues downstairs into a spacious, white-washed cellar.
The food is British, no nonsense and keenly presented. Real ales are a focus with local real ales available at sensible prices. Meanwhile, the wine list focuses on the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Service is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
In the mornings, the restaurant opens as a coffee shop and serves breakfast at weekends.
