Critically acclaimed jazz rock guitarist and composer Chanan Hanspal has performed with Roots Manuva, Kylie Minogue, Jay Kay, Jazz Jamaica and The Roots. Hanspal has recorded for Virgin, Sony, Dorado and Instinct Records, and has independently released two solo albums.
His new album released Autumn2018 'Only Two Things Are Infinite' features Miles Davis musicians, Bill Evans and Mike Stern and has a contemporary angular sound with deep and rich textures, highly developed compositions, strange musical structures, blistering high octane fusion guitar solos, hellish funky grooves, quintuplets in the time of septuplets, discordant parallel motion aggregates, all unfolding in a colourful musical patchwork.
