The Game:

Robot invaders threaten the galaxy... Do you have what it takes to board the mothership and defeat their fearsome leader Jumbotron? Team up with your friend and bring the laser heat! Tactical team play against the robots is our favorite. If one of you is killed, a high-five from your friend will bring you back to life. 30 minutes include a quick training session and a multi-level quest.

FAQs

Can I wear glasses? – Yes, glasses are no problem. The headset is focused around 2m distance, so if you can see that without glasses you won’t even need them in VR.

What are the age restrictions? – children under 9 are not allowed because their heads are too small for the headset and their hands are too small for controllers. Some games are only suitable for 13+ or 18+ due to the content. Please see game list for details. We have lots of fun experiences to suit everyone though.

What should I wear? – Anything suitable for trampolining is fine for VR.

I’m rubbish at video games – will I still be able to have fun? – Absolutely. We’ve carefully selected games for all abilities. VR is much easier than normal video games to pick up since you mainly just move your arms around – if you can pick up a cup of tea in the real world you’ll be fine.

Can I buy a ticket when I get there? – Yes, tickets are £4 each per turn and we accept mobile, card and cash payments. The walk-up ticket gets you a short game (5-6 minutes).

What does the online ticket get me? – The online ticket gives you a longer, more immersive VR experience – 30minutes of fun. You and a friend will get to play together on the RecRoom quest and try to defeat Jumbotron. It’s a retro-scifi combination of laser quest and paintball but with loads of baddies and exciting weapons. If you come by yourself, don’t worry – we’ll find you an able ally for your adventure.

Do I have to go trampolining too? – No, your ticket is independent. That said, trampolining is pretty great, so you should probably consider it :-)

Can I park my car? – Yes, the Airhop car park is free for VR customers.
