Opened in 2009, The Cowshed has gone from strength to strength. Located on Whiteladies Road, the original venue is a perfect date spot; the small and intimate venue is flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling front windows, while inside blackboards list specials and the interiors are a mix of stone slabs and emerald green planks.

Owner Adam Denton is passionate about local produce, so much so that he opened next door Ruby and White butchers to stock the West Country meat served in the restaurant. The venue also takes part in The Follow this Food Campaign which means meat can be traced back to the farm, breed and dry-aged.
