Description
COR in Bristol brings a warm, neighbourhood charm to Bedminster’s North Street, blending Mediterranean sunshine with laid‑back West Country hospitality. Run by husband‑and‑wife duo Mark and Karen Chapman, the restaurant’s name comes from the Latin for ‘heart’, which sums up the ethos here: welcoming, unpretentious and driven by a genuine love of good food and good company. With a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide in both 2023 and 2024, alongside recognition in The Good Food Guide, Timeout, Hardens UK and multiple other accolades, COR has quickly cemented itself as one of the city’s most beloved dining spots.
Head Chef Vyck Colsell and Restaurant Manager Tallulah Small lead a talented team delivering a seasonal menu inspired by Mediterranean flavours, fine‑tuned with techniques from Mark Chapman’s fine‑dining background.
