The Apple

Description

One of Bristol's most iconic venues, The Apple is a converted dutch barge that is moored on in the Old City and serves a huge range of cider. As well as the boat, there is also the popular outdoor terrace with seating right beside the river.

Named Cider Pub of the Year in 2014, the venue sources many of its drinks from the West Country including serving its very own 'Old Bristolian' cider, as well as stocking ales, spirits and wines. Food wise, the venue keeps things simple with a range of cheesy chips topped with everything from stilton or brie through to garlic mayo, as well as local specials including a ploughman's.
