Having conquered the neon-lit streets of Shoreditch, award-winning whisky bar Black Rock is coming to a basement near you this July. Taking over two floors of a former barristers' chambers just off Baldwin Street, the ground floor will serve as a bar, while their basement area will host a kitchen, bathrooms and a further space, the use of which is still being kept hush hush.

Housing over 250 bottles of whisky, you can sample drams from across the globe, either neat or mixed up into one of the cleverly crafted cocktails. From the smokey to the sweet, the bartenders serve up all manner of bespoke mixes designed to test your understanding of flavours, and get you a little boozed up too obviously. To pair with your drinks they'll also have a crafty selection of indulgent bar snacks, including raw oysters, haggis balls and soda bread with seaweed butter.
