The Brighton Recording Artist Experience – Record Your Favourite Song in a Professional Recording Studio, with cocktails and prosecco, from first time karaoke go’ers, to the next big thing. Experience a real recording session!
Above an iconic Brighton pub famous for its wings and cocktails sits a professional recording studio. Record your favourite hit with a producer who’s worked with the likes of Jamiroquai, Little Simz and Clementine Douglas — and leave with a professionally produced recording.
Cocktails downstairs, Prosecco upstairs and the chance to become a recording artist for the day.
At The Brighton Recording Artist Experience, you and your friends step inside a real Brighton recording studio to record your favourite song and leave with your very own professionally produced track.
All sessions are 90 minutes, any levels or any songs are welcome, all groups leave with their unique professional recordings.
It’s the perfect experience for hen parties, stag parties, birthdays and unforgettable group nights out. Silver packages and above include guidance from a professional singer and vocal coach to help get the very best out of your recording.
The Venue
The experience takes place above The Joker, one of Brighton’s best-loved nightlife spots.
Downstairs you’ll find a lively pub atmosphere with cocktails and the venue’s famous wings. Upstairs the venue opens into a vibrant social space including:
• a stylish cocktail lounge
• a private pool room
• a rooftop terrace
• and the professional recording studio at Copper Sounds
Start the evening with drinks downstairs, head upstairs to record your favourite hit, then celebrate afterwards back in the bar or on the terrace.
The Experience
Step inside a real working recording studio and discover what it feels like to record music professionally.
Each session lasts one and a half hours, giving your group plenty of time to step up to the microphone, experiment, laugh and capture the moment.
Guided by an experienced producer, your group will enter the vocal booth and record your chosen track while receiving tips and encouragement to help get the very best out of your performance.
You can sing together as a group, take turns on the microphone, or embrace your inner superstar with solo moments.
Filming and documenting the experience is actively encouraged — capture as much of the session as you like for your own memories or social media.
At the end of the session everyone gathers in the control room for the playback, hearing your finished track together like a real studio release.
By the end of the experience you’ll leave with your own professionally produced recording — a track so good it could even be played at the wedding reception, birthday celebration or party itself.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
