Above an iconic Brighton pub famous for its wings and cocktails sits a professional recording studio. Record your favourite hit with a producer who’s worked with the likes of Jamiroquai, Little Simz and Clementine Douglas — and leave with a professionally produced recording.
THE EXPERIENCE
Step inside a real working recording studio, situated above the iconic pub and cocktail bar The Joker, and feel what it’s like to record music like a pro. Over 90 minutes, your group will take to the mic, have a laugh, and create something unforgettable together.
Greeted with a complimentary cocktail, You'll then head upstairs for the experience, With guidance from an professional producer, (who's worked with the likes of Little Simz, Jamiroquai & Clementine Douglas) & with a pro vocal coach for sliver packages and above, you’ll record your chosen track in the vocal booth — whether that’s singing as a group, taking turns, or stepping up for your own superstar moment. Think of this as Karaoke on steroids sponsored by NASA! You’ll get tips and the pro treatment, to get the best out of your recording. (absolutely no experience is necessary, this is about the experience, and we have plenty of tricks to make is the recording sound elite, regardless of ability ;)
We’ll be capturing the fun along the way, and you’re encouraged to film and snap as much as you like for memories or social media. Each group will then leave with their personalised online portal, this will include your band name, pictures, videos and of course the professionally mixed and mastered recordings, which you can download and share as much as you like.

SESSION DETAILS
Duration: 90 minutes (1.5 hours)
Group size: 4–14 people
Kick things off with a warm welcome at the Joker where half an hour before your session you get a table and a cocktail (included in the price) a quick intro to the studio, then it’s straight into the fun as you hit the vocal booth to record your favourite songs. Whether you’re singing together or taking centre stage for solo moments, it’s all about having a laugh and making memories. We’ll capture plenty of photos and video along the way, before bringing everyone back together for a big playback party in the control room. Best of all, you’ll head home with your finished track the very same day — the ultimate souvenir from an unforgettable session.
THE VENUE
The experience takes place above The Joker, one of Brighton’s best-loved nightlife spots. Start downstairs in the lively pub with cocktails and their famous wings, then head upstairs into a vibrant social space featuring a stylish cocktail lounge, private pool room, rooftop terrace, and the professional recording studio at Copper Sounds.
Kick things off with drinks, step up to record your favourite hit, then keep the party going afterwards back in the bar or out on the terrace.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
