Welcome to Brighton & Hove’s best small comedy club, winner of the Audience Choice Award for Best Fringe Venue, located at Artista. As the only comedy club in Brighton operating every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, we offer a safer and friendlier alternative to larger venues.
Our talented MC Martin Warren is joined by Alex Mitchell and headliner Esther Manito.
Martin Warren is an audience favourite. A Semi-Finalist in Komedia New Comedy Awards, Martin is quick witted, joyful, chatty, and a resident MC at The Secret Comedy Club.
Alex Mitchell is an award-winning stand-up
comedian, writer, actor and podcaster. He is a queer, autistic,
disabled comic who regularly performs at the biggest comedy clubs
in the UK including The Stand, Glee, Up the Creek, Backyard and
Komedia Brighton. Alex was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent in
2024. All three of his Britain’s Got Talent performances have
individually amassed tens of thousands of views online. Since then,
he has appeared on Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, Heart Radio
Breakfast and Access All for BBC Sounds. In spring 2025 he
completed his debut UK Tour.
Esther Manito launched her comedy career in 2016 while on
maternity leave, quickly gaining traction after appearing on the
BBC Radio 4 New Comedy Awards and reaching the So You Think You’re
Funny final. She has since become a familiar face on television,
featuring across multiple series of ITV’s Stand Up Sketch Show,
performing on Live at the Apollo, and appearing on programmes such
as Hypothetical, Comedy Central Live, and Celebrity Pointless. Her
stand-up has earned significant recognition, winning Best Show at
the Leicester Comedy Festival for #NotAllMen, with her debut hour
Crusade now available on ITVX. Most recently she completed her
first tour with her third show, Hell Hath No Fury, which drew
praise from critics such as The Skinny, The Evening Standard, and
Radio Times. Esther has also been invited to support acts including
Alan Davies, Shappi Khorsandi, Sindhu Vee, Jason Manford, Jo Brand,
and Al Murray.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
