Description
With the Palace Pier in front and the pebbles practically at its feet, No.124 by GuestHouse Brighton delivers seaside glamour with a mischievous streak. Set along Kings Road in a row of Victorian and Regency townhouses, this boldly designed hotel takes Brighton’s anything-goes spirit and runs with it - splashing the interiors in confident colour, Pier-inspired flourishes and a rotating cast of locally sourced artwork.
Inside, it’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of place. There are 32 luxe rooms and suites, many with sea views and balconies, plus plenty of reasons to leave them. The ground floor plays host to cocktail-friendly lounges, a games room and a courtyard that buzzes from morning coffee to late-night negronis. Outside, a terrace turns out wood-fired pizzas, while the mood shifts up a notch at Pearly Cow, the hotel’s destination restaurant, where pristine shellfish, open-flame cooking and sunset sea views steal the show.
Wellness gets equal billing. The FieldTrip Spa is a cocoon of calm after a day in the Lanes, with indulgent treatments and the signature Copper Cove experience proving particularly popular with couples. There’s also space for private events and creative get-togethers, should you feel like mixing business with beach air.
