Hotel Pelirocco

Description

Off the beaten track in both location and attitude, Hotel Pelirocco is a fun filled hotel bar in Brighton on Regency Square that will wow your palate with a selection of inventive cocktails and saucy boutique interiors.

Whilst its location is in the quiet Regency Square the Hotel Pelirocco makes for a fun and brazen rock and roll retreat in the city. This relatively small, boutique hotel is brimming with more than enough attitude. Each of the bedrooms pay homage to different icons of music, art and culture. You can fall asleep to the entire box set of Star Wars in Darth Vader's HQ, go five rounds in Muhammad Ali's room , or dream of glamour and beauty in Bettie's Boudoir.

Fancy something even more special? Book Lover's Lair, the hotel's flagship Suite complete with huge circular bed, mirrored ceiling, dancing pole. It has a private entrance, hidden courtyard and HUGE plunge bath.

Known for their intimate gigs nights, book readings and cocktail parties alike, Hotel Pelirocco's Bar is just the place for something special and a little off kilter in Brighton. If you're not supping away on one of their creative cocktails by the name of Del Boy, Reggae Sunsplash or Dirty F*ckin' Rotter, or the eponymous Pelirocco, you may just find yourself at one of Hotel Pelirocco's afternoon tea parties where cocktails, karaoke and private burlesque shows are sure to tickle your fancy.

For smaller parties, The Lounge is perfect. Sumptuously decorated in true stately fashion, the mirror ball (oh yeah!) adds just the right amount of Pelirocco disco magic to your evening.

The Pelirocco is legendary- and rightly so.

For a truly memorable event, you can hire the entire Hotel Pelirocco. You'll have exclusive use of all 19 bedrooms, including the infamous Lover's Lair Suite.

Famous for it's astounding decor, love of a life and ability to manage just about any request, The Hotel Pelirocco is THE place to hold a party.

Every room is truly unique, and the walls of the building are covered in artwork celebrating the very best of art, music, film, and subcultural heroes. There is not an inch that hasn't been thought about and lovingly curated. The Pelirocco has been insta-worthy long before the 'gram was a thing!

If the walls could talk (and some worry that they can!), they'd tell you that they're steeped in history- just about every modern day rock 'n' roll hero has walked up those stairs. Legends have slept in these rooms. Wild and wonderful people have sipped a cocktail, or supped a pint, at the infamous Peli Bar.

The staff at the hotel are as characterful and unique as the Hotel itself, and you can feel their love for the place and the party. Their discreet, professional approach, and care of their guests, strikes just the right balance between attentive and invisible. Whilst guests enjoy the hedonism associated with hiring the Hotel, the team at the Pelirocco work to ensure everyone has a safe and pleasurable stay.

The Hotel Pelirocco has a long list of both private and business clients who regularly reserve the entire venue for events- many returning more than once a year for the full Pelirocco experience.

The Bar Private Room 30 50 - - -

The Bar at The Hotel Pelirocco is one of those places they write books about. Someone probably has.

The beating heart of the Hotel, the Bar has a wonderful mix of local beers, exceptional cocktails, and unusual premium spirits. There aren't many hotels where you can choose from one Motorhead beer , two Ron de Jeremy rums, three espresso martinis, and a simple peppermint tea!

The people working the bar are always happy to walk you through the huge choices on offer- or to create your favourite drink, just for you. They're famously friendly, know what they're doing, and have definitely seen it all!

The Peli Bar has played its part in just about every subculture of the past 20 years. Representatives of music, film, and art have performed, created, and exhibited in this unique space.

Legends of the music scene have come to the Pelirocco- to spin their favourite tunes, play their back catalogue, perform a rare acoustic set, or to hang out and party. The Bar has hosted film festivals, screened the work of up and coming film makers, provided the space to show movies, and make movies. They regularly exhibit new pieces of creativity by both established and fledgling visual artists.

They work with you to ensure your night is exactly what you want, and can provide food, DJs, AV equipment, entertainment... no request goes unexplored.

If you're looking for a quiet place to work or meet in during the day, just let them know. Your team can enjoy all the creative and cool vibes of the Bar, whilst being assured you'll be left in peace to get the job done.

The Lounge Private Room 25 20 - - -

The Lounge is a small, hidden room within the Pelirocco Hotel.

Reflecting the luxurious decor so famously associated with the Regency grandeur of the building's history, The Pelirocco Lounge is the discreet best friend of the Hotel's Bar.

in its natural state, there's a chaise longue, window seating and a vintage bar. Tipping its rather fancy hat to the rest of the venue, there's also a large mirror ball, and a couple of guitars hanging in this salon. Taking a leaf from the modernist's handbook there is also a TV screen, DVD player, telephone and wifi. More AV equipment is available.

You can request a variety of seating arrangements in The Lounge. It's the perfect venue for a boardroom meeting, the hotel can furnish it with cabaret tables, or, it can be used as a dining room for 12 people (more if they really love one another).

The Hotel hosts several music conferences, retreats and teaching groups throughout the year. This room is a favourite for them, as it is set apart from on lookers, has a degree of soundproofing, and yet feels less sterile than a recording studio or practise hall.

The Lounge may be less well known, less visible, and quieter than the rest of The Hotel Pelirocco- but underneath that pretty face lurks a space yearning to release its creative soul.
