Description
Wacky and wonderful in equal measure, Mrs Fitzherberts is a curio-stuffed pub serving cocktails and food daily, in the heart of the Lanes. The unique space is inspired by Maria Fitzherbert, the legendary mistress of King George IV, and features eccentric touches throughout.
Divided between a roof terrace, outside seating, and indoor nooks, the venue is a hot choice for summer days in Brighton, decorated with everything from the wall of lovers and crucifixes through to an abundance of potted plants. Drinks are just as quirky, with 2 for £11.50 cocktails served and a hot line-up of Brighton's best craft beer and local talent. The venue has live music on Thursday 9pm - 11pm, Sunday 7pm - 9pm and DJs on Friday and Saturday from 9pm - 2am.
Stop by for a bite from their Caribbean-inspired menu, created and cooked by Brighton's legendary Jean Luc (top 5 Sunday roast chef in the city) so whether you like it hot, cheesy or jerked - dive in. On Sundays the Cauli-pop is presented among meats of your choice, with a vegetarian and vegan roast option too - the roast of Mrs Maria Fitzherberts rivals the best in the city and was voted top 5 in the city recently.
