What is the best way to start a new semester in September? With some jazz and blues of course! The Jam House, in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter is playing host to a very special event. The University of Wolverhampton has compiled a wonderful evening of performances from it's own music student past and present to get the year going with funktastic bang. After last year's fantastically successful kick off, this event looks to be just a jazzy and full of soul, with plenty of performances in the sophisticated Jam House setting. Greg Lake, guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and all round musical marvel will be joining the wonders of Wolverhampton with his bluesy style which is always pulsating with funk and soul.

This event is open to all and is completely free. You can begin the start of semester activities at 6pm at The Jam House's superb restaurant and bar. Then at 9pm things will get a big more groovy as you are taken on a trip through Wolverhampton University's finest musical offerings.
