After the huge success of our debut event, The Travelling Cinema Company returns on what is arguably the most romantic weekend of the year, Valentines. We will be housing our event at a hidden gem inside the Custard Factory, The Mockingbird Theatre and Bar. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you, Romeo & Juliet!

What couple could be more fitting, passionate, poetic and loved than Romeo & Juliet?! Marry that with the visually arresting style of Baz Luhrman for the now iconic 1996 adapation of Shakespeare's most famous tragedy. This one will have you laughing, singing and crying in equal meaure.

What to expect? We are offering a fully immersive experience where you can enjoy the film with wireless headphones, so no unwanted noise, the setting is a classic theatre space, so you will lose yourself in the moment! Be warned, we have very limited capacity, so purchase your tickets as quickly as possible.

We have also designed our very own 'Star Crossed Lovers' cocktail (mocktail option too) to add a littel more excitement to the proceedings. Each ticket purchased will recieve a complimentary drink.

The Mockingbird Theatre and Bar have an amazing array of food on offer, from mac n cheese, to burgers, to chicken wings, your classic American diner affair. Popcorn will be on tap all night too!

Much the same as the review below. Arrived around 6 to be told food was no longer being served. Bar staff seemed to be completely in the dark about what was going on and were pretty much just drinking themselves. Not sure what was in the cocktail but it wasn't particularly nice. Popcorn was literally two handfuls of cheap corner shop popcorn put in to brown paper bags and stamped and then charged £2 for, extortionate. Advertised wireless headphones that never materialised, could have saved myself £30 and watched it at home or saved £15 and gone to a normal cinema. Not impressed at all. Would have been 5 stars but a few things could be improved on. The tickets said doors at 6, so when we turned up at half 6 only to be told food was no longer being served was quite annoying. The only other option for food was the popcorn you had on sale which you charged £2 for. Only to then grab "2 for £1" bags of popcorn and use about 1/4 for each. Finally you advertised a "fully immersive experience" with woreless headphones but in reality it was just a normal cinema experience. I wouldn't have minded the last part but don't advertise it if you're not going to do it. Tom visited The Mockingbird Cinema and Kitchen on 03 Feb 2016

Excellent night! Fantastic quality both visual and audio. The popcorn and cocktail were great too! We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the experience and the oppurtunity to reminisce about GCSE English class! Keira visited The Mockingbird Cinema and Kitchen on 29 Jan 2016
