Celebrate Shaanti’s Holi Rave Festival With Music, Food and Colour
It’s nearly time Birmingham, Shaanti’s Holi Rave Festival returns back for the 4th year to celebrate Holi – the official Hindu celebration of friendship and love – is coming to our city bringing with it an explosion of colour, music, dance and delicious cuisine.
Due to popular demand, hundred’s are expected to participate in the event with festivities running from 3pm-10pm. Birmingham will be celebrating Digbeth, with a spectacular party of colours where friends and strangers chase each other with coloured powder.
Produced by Shaanti in partnership with Taste and Liquor, the Holi Rave Festival is also known as the festival of colours Holi, is traditionally celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Phalgun (March) and festivities spread across the globe. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships, and is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest
This year families are invited with their little ones to attend a daytime show from 3pm – 6.00pm, then from 6.00pm – 10.00pm the arches will be transformed into a festival vibe and the soundsytem will be turned up in full effect, taking the party to the next level. Throughout the day the festival will feature plenty of colour throwing, top DJ’s, live music, dhol drummers, Bollywood dancers, free face-painting, henna tattoo artists, a fancy dress competition and much, much more.
Food is another part of the festival, so they have brought in street-food events producers Taste and Liquor to create a mini-Indian street-food bazaar, celebrating Mumbai street food favourites all served with a selection of Indian beers. The team have also taken the challenge to commission global (non-Indian) street food traders to create a new dish celebrating the colourful day.
Combining their love for arts, culture, music and cultural – traditions with their love for food, the Holi Rave Festival gives the region a great opportunity to celebrate a long-lived Indian tradition, bringing in the brightness to the diverse community of the West Midlands.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
