Step inside the Toymakers' Grotto and become part of a magical Christmas story!
Santa’s workshop is busier than ever, and the Toymakers need YOUR help. Join us for a playful, hands-on festive adventure, complete an important Toymaker task and explore the workshop before enjoying the most magical moment of all, a special family visit with Santa.

Your adventure begins inside the Toymakers' Grotto, where children will join a small group of young Toymakers for a fun, interactive toy-making experience.
Once their important task is complete, it’s time to meet Santa! Each family will enjoy their own visit together, with time to chat, take photographs and soak up a little North Pole magic.
Every participating child will also receive a special Christmas gift from Santa.

atmosphere and your family visit with Santa.
Please arrive 10 minutes early so our Toymakers can keep Santa’s workshop running to schedule.

Children must be accompanied by a
responsible adult at all times, with at least 1 adult for
every 3 children. Parents and accompanying adults remain
responsible for their children throughout the experience.
Please note that the first session of each day will be reserved for, and bookable by, families with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including children who may benefit from a calmer, more accessible grotto experience.

The Toymakers' Grotto – Important Booking Information
We want your visit to The Toymakers' Grotto to be as magical and enjoyable as possible. Please read the following information before booking.
Age guidance: The experience is best suited to children aged 4–8 years; however, younger and older children are welcome. For our very youngest visitors, we’ll offer an age-appropriate alternative to the Toymaker activity, so they can still join in and enjoy the magic without missing out.
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked session to allow plenty of time to check in. As sessions run to a timed schedule, late arrival may mean that we are unable to offer you the full experience.
Adult supervision: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. There must be at least 1 responsible adult for every 3 children. Additional adult tickets can be purchased at checkout. Parents and accompanying adults remain responsible for their children throughout the experience.
How the experience works: The first 15 minutes of The Toymakers' Grotto is a shared group experience with other families. Following this, families will move through to meet Santa separately as the family group shown on their ticket.
Tickets booked together are treated as one family group. Your group will meet Santa together rather than each child having an individual Santa visit.
Babes in arms: Babies who do not require their own place within the experience can attend free of charge as babes in arms. Please note, prams will need to be left outside of the grotto. We will have some allocated pram parking areas, however prams are left at your own risk and we are not responsible for any damage or loss.
Gifts from Santa: Each participating child will receive a gift from Santa as part of their experience. Gifts may vary and are subject to availability, so we cannot guarantee that every child or family will receive the same item.
Accessibility and additional requirements: The experience is wheelchair friendly. If you or anyone in your group has any accessibility or additional requirements, please contact us before your visit so that we can best accommodate you.

Assistance dogs: Dogs are not permitted inside the Grotto, with the exception of recognised assistance/service dogs. If you will be visiting with an assistance dog, please let us know in advance so we can help make your visit as comfortable as possible.
A select number of SEND sessions are available. Please check the ticketing schedule for dates and details.
Photography: You are very welcome to take your own photographs within the Grotto, including during your family visit with Santa. We simply ask that you are considerate of other families and do not photograph other children without permission.
Food and drink: No food or drink will be served as part of, or can be consumed within The Toymakers' Grotto experience.
Changing your booking: All tickets are non-refundable. If you need to change your date or time, you can request a change up to 72 hours before your booked session. Changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
If we need to cancel: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booked session, we will contact you and offer an alternative date or time where possible, or a refund.
Changes to the experience: Occasionally, we may need to make small changes to the running order, performers or individual elements of the experience. Where this happens, we will always aim to ensure the overall quality and magic of The Toymakers' Grotto is maintained.
Personal belongings: Please keep personal belongings with you and take care of them throughout your visit. We cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged or unattended personal items.
