Description
Mowgli brings Indian street food to Grand Central in Digbeth.
This is the fourth restaurant after Manchester and two Liverpool venues by YouTuber Nisha Katona, who gave up her 20-year barrister career to pursue being a chef. The 364 sq metre venue fits right at home in Grand Central, as the casual restaurant is all about tiffin boxes, sticky wings and even Himalayan style cheese on toast.
There’s a variety of Indian dishes available at the Birmingham branch, including gunpowder chicken poppers and mother butter chicken, which is the ‘real’ street food version of chicken tikka masala, as well as a selection of vegan dishes. To drink, there’s cocktails, wines, beers and lassis, which are long yoghurt coolers ranging from pineapple chilli & lime to mango.
