Run by the team behind Digbeth's The Old Crown Pub, and Eastside Catering, The Custard Factory’s go-to events catering service, the spacious café serves up a healthy, street-food inspired menu featuring the likes of butternut squash hot boxes and eggs with Serrano ham.

Kanteen puts community at its heart and every hot box sold comes with the promise to provide a meal for the homeless. Co-owner, Kieran McInerney has expressed a wish for the venue to be a community space, with local groups being invited to use the restaurant for events for the price of one member of staff for the evening.
