Bar + Block is a contemporary version of Whitbread's chain restaurant BeefEater. It shares the same values of the brand, but aims to launch the company into the modern era - designed to thrive on the high street.
Aimed at a younger crowd, Bar + Block first opening finds itself in Birmingham's City Centre. The venue takes a much more informal and edgy approach than usually associated with the brand. This 3,000+ sq ft diner boasts an open kitchen, a central bar, and cool copper finishings found throughout.
Much like the decor, the menu here is much more 'modern' too. Expect to find an all-day menu with a strong focus on premium steaks - all of which are hand cut to the diner's preference. Fancy a big ol' slap o' steak? They've got you covered! The restaurant's signature dish is ‘Our Butcher’s Block’ - offering up a selection of limited steaks that you can have cut however you'd like. Finally, the central bar here acts as a spot for guests to indulge on a few tropical tipples too!

Succulent steaks are on the chopping block here with signature cuts like a tender Fillet for just £19.95 as well as a dedicated breakfast and brunch menu with the Bar + Block Works (full fry up) for £7.95.
