Opus Club is a speakeasy themed spoken word night, where artists blend together to create a monthly smoothie of poetry, music and music-backed poetry - all headlined by our established feature spoken word artist and rounded off with the chance to party the night away.
Dark Horse Moseley plays host to one nationally-renowned poet, supported by an open-mic line-up of some of the city’s very own up-and-coming spoken word dark horses.
This month's featured poet is none other than legendary teacher turned rap battler, MARK GRIST.
Come watch poetry, perform poetry a cappella, join in our musical poetry jam, then party with us into the early hours.
Open mic slots are bookable in advance via the organisers. A slot will get you free entry, 5 minutes of performance time, a chance to share the stage with some of the UK’s hottest poetic talent, and a free drink on us.
