Touche the Cocktail and Ciroc Party More
Every 4th Friday of the month

Description

Taking on the mystique of the orient and creating a killer blend of cocktails and partying, Geisha comes to The Cube in Birmingham.

Inspired by the centuries old cultures of Japan, Geisha markets itself as a bar and club space that is both 'upmarket, seductive and quirky' all at once. The walls are adorned with authentic Japanese artwork as well as custom tattoo drawings to create a venue that evokes a sleek Modern style as well as a creative awareness. Geisha have created an identity that incorporates Asian aesthetics and bespoke design so you feel a touch of seductive exclusivity on any drinking venture here. Expect to discover a space of red and black colourways to make for a dramatic and brooding atmosphere where the cocktails take the centre stage.

On the drinks menu you'll find hand crafted concoctions such as the 'Onitsuka Dragon' which is a heady mix of Absolute Vodka, Cranberry Juice, Guava Juice topped with Prosecco finished with a Dragon fruit garnish. The bar play with twists on classic cocktails as well as offering their own punchy creations for an ultimately tailored experience.

With one section of the bar area dedicated to the after work tipple and casual cocktail goer, you can come back for the later hours and discover a dance floor and party atmosphere to take you into the night. There's also VIP areas available for booking out.

Literally the worst club I have ever been to. The table service was horrendous and overly priced, considering the vodka they provide is cheap Smirnoff! The staff were rude and obnoxious. The DJ had no idea how to mix songs. Oh and the toilets were disgusting!!!!!!! The only good thing about the night was when we left the bar.

Absolutely appalled at this place. Heard this place was new, upbeat, classy. There was about 4 fights in the one night, the toilets were disgusting. Glass smashed on the floor which resulted in my friend having glass in her foot and having to go home early. We had to signal security TWICE to tell them there was smashed glass on the floor which was a health a safety risk ANYway! Only then they sent someone to clear up. Considering the amount of security around the glass would have been cleaned up ASAP. The bouncers were okay apart from one guy that was completely rude and had no means of speaking to a person or properly, wouldn't be surprised if he's had complaints before and the manager will be hearing from us about him. The club talks of watching who they let in, instead we have overly drunk men and women roaming around and pushing into others and becoming rowdy for no reason! We were all on edge the whole night and did NOT enjoy the night at all and even left early! A waste of £10 entry which is ridiculous! We will not be coming back here and will ensure that all friends and family won't be coming back either. An absolute joke of a place!

Geisha had Thrown and denied other Asian group of ladies out too I've seen security guards do discrimination. Geisha is 200% racist!

The security staff are extremely rude (rather racist) I would say mainly to Asians judging from the reviews. just the look on there grumpy faces makes you not want to bother going.. Treat customers with respect, you're security staff so don't act like you own the joint. Maybe even smile a little instead of looking like a bunch of grumpy old gorillas. 👍🏻

Looks like a lot of people have had a similar experience to me. Excessively rude door/security staff. I had booked and pre-paid 4 tickets but our group was not allowed in as one of my friends had formal shoes which weren't to the bouncers taste. No refund, extremely intimidating on questioning. Saw two people go in with white trainers. Did not respond to 4 complaint emails. Will not be going to this place again.

I would give it 0 if i could. The security staff - absolutely appalling - excessively rude, non-helpful and non caring. Genuinely, you would think when you have spent a hell of a lot of money in the place, the staff in there would at least act like they gave a dam if you had a problem whilst there. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere where you will get treated with respect

Do not go to this bar! I paid for a VIP package and recieved such awful service. A dedicated waitress was included in the package however we spent most the night looking for staff to serve us. The manager was so rude and walked away from us when we complained. The website states it is a cocktail bar however when we asked for them we were told they were not serving cocktails that night. Overall a really bad experience and I will never return again

Could not agree more with the below reviews. AWFUL experience. I've lived in Birmingham for 6 years and was excited about the prospect of a new club in the cube. Two friends and I attended for the bank holiday Sunday. We paid £25 for VIP entry. We had an awful experience- never been treated with such disrespect. Dirty surroundings with tiny toilets and awful atmosphere. Not worth the money. We tried to leave after 30 minutes and asked for a refund. We were treated with such a level of disrespect and a rude attitude by the lady at the door. No one could tell us who to speak to re our concerns. I have e-mailed the venue twice since the event with no answer. Really would not recommend.

Really Disappointed! I was excited to hear that a new Bar/Club had opened in The Cube. Although I had heard very mixed reviews (mostly negative) I wanted to try it out for myself, being placed in The Cube, I really didn't think it could be that bad. Unfotunatly i couldn't agree more with the negative reputation hanging over the club. I have never experienced such rude and unhelpful staff, overpriced entry fees and dirty surrounding. It's such a shame because I think the Mailbox and The Cube are classy enjoyable places to socialise and this club does not represent these qualities. I found this club to have a Unfriendly atmosphere & will not be returning anytime soon.

Terrible night out. Would never attend again, the music was rubbish and the entry wasn't £5! Having this venue in somewhere like the cube really brings it down, usually a classy place to be but no longer with this being there.

Was really looking forward to coming to this place. Will not be going back. Intimidating, rude and unhelpful staff. Not a comfortable environment at all. Such a shame. Absolute rip off prices. I go to much nicer places in Birmingham and have never paid £22 for entry into a BAR

My glass wasn't clean..toilets smelt funny and the drinks wasn't strong at all and were priced a lot more than a lot more hip and decent places surrounding it..overall I won't be back..Not for me
