At the forefront of Birmingham's student nights out and clubbing scene sits Snobs, a 1400 strong nightclub just shy of Birmingham City Centre that's been on the scene for over 41 year.

Having relocated in 2014 to a new Smallbrook Queensway plot, Snobs may have cleaned up their act, but as ever, their indie inspired haven reigns supreme. Suitably futuristic and a mark away from its previous, sticky throngs, Snobs have a brand new space to play with, toting chrome murals, those oh so recognisable plaster cast faces and a brand new bar.

Classic indie rock-n-roll night out. Decent drink prices (although a bit dearer than the old venue) - think it's £2.50 for a vodka mixer these days. Quality music; expect classic indie rock (Arctic Monkeys, Libertines, The Cure etc...)

I went there on Friday night with my friends. While my partner was searched by the entry he made a little dance move and suddenly one of the bouncers pushed him out of the club so hard that my partner nearly fall over. I could understand that sort of behaviour if you are being aggressive, if they feel their safety or the safety of others is at risk... but to treat someone this way without an explanation?!? We were all shocked by that situation. If the bouncer didn't want him in in, he should simply stop him from entering and ask him to leave. Just treat people the way you want to be treated, please. Unbelievable!!

Love this place! It's always packed on a Wednesday night! Great music in both rooms and the drinks are cheap as chips!
