Description
Venture past the luxurious restaurant bars of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and you'll find a club venue born with Brum's alternative crowd in mind.
'Built by musicians, for musicians', this 600 capacity purpose built music venue is the newest beating heart to Hockley's music scene. It's more about substance than style at The Asylum Venue where walls smothered in commissioned pieces, Rock artefacts and magazine clippings make this venue as readable as it is visit-able. Whilst not themed around a mental Asylum per say, you wouldn't be hard push to find the young and rowdy bar staff decked out in hospital gear.
Playing on the best in global/local Rock and Alternative bands, The Asylum Venue is also host to alternative club night Uprawr that promises everything from fancy dress to fancy riffs.
