The Charter Rooms

The Charter Rooms is a Victorian themed gin bar in The Great Western Arcade, Birmingham.

The bar is the first from Charter Brands, creators of Langley’s Gin. Across two floors, the venue channels a Victorian aesthetic, basing it on old-school salons and drawing rooms with plush curtains, wooden floors and large, antique-esque armchairs. The Great Western Arcade, that hosts the venue, is also a Grade II listed Victorian building. Upstairs is a gin school and private area.

The bar specialises in spirits – particularly gin – cocktails both classic and house-style, and wines. Its impressive number of gins include Langley’s No. 8 Gin and Langley’s Old Tom Gin. It rests with the venue's impressive stock, which lines the entirety of the back bar.
