Birmingham city centre has a new craft beer sheriff in town thanks to one of the Midlands' most revered brewing company's, Purity Brewing as they team up with Simpsons.

With the decor mimicing the sleek and trendy branding of its very own company, this is a corker of a bar, no stout. Industrial with an ever so cosmopolitan edge, Pure Bar and Kitchen is no basic Birmingham boozer. Expect long wooden tables, steel furnishings, exposed brickwork and classic awnings.

Heralded for its craft beer offering, Pure Craft Bar and Kitchen is a premium destination to catch up on independently sourced hops, be that in the shape of Dunkertons, Purity craft itself, Fourpure, Roosters and more. All available on a regularly rotating draft selection. But it's not just craft beer that they top, with gastro grub their inherent aim, diners can tuck in to everything from a deluxe scotch egg at £4.50, or Dunkel beer BBQ glazed chicken at £13.50.

A word from the chef:
Pub food with an all out gastro edge, there's something inherently thought out when it comes to the menu at Pure Bar and Kitchen. Tuck in to nibbles such as their large Scotch egg with ketchup at £4.50, or try something a bit more hearty such as their poached smoked haddock with Welsh rarebit at £13.50.

Great spot for post work drinks and is always nicely busy with loads of atmosphere. The food is really well done and best describes as 'upgraded pub food'. The mac & cheese with bacon dust and the scotch egg are absolute winners!!

Excellent food, great beer, realistic prices, what more could anyone want? Not overcrowded, despite being Friday lunch time. Service very good throughout, we will definitely be returning for more. Lots more wonderful sounding beers to try!
