Make a date with Love Speed Dating in the heart of Birmingham, joining like-minded singles ages 40's & 50's (age approximate) all looking to find the same thing as you..... a potential love partner. The events are held at a beautiful, cosy cocktail bar Be At One in the centre of Birmingham opposite New Street Train Station. We have exclusive use of the back bar and the venue is very private and romantic with low lighting and gentle music to help set the mood.
A professional, welcoming hostess will put you at your ease and explain how the evening will run. Then the ladies get settled into their tables before the gents join them and the dating begins.
Each participant has 4 minutes with each date - up to 15 males/females and at the end of the evening, you decide if you would like a further date, say yes to make a new friend or no to move on to the next date. You will have a date card provided to help you make a few notes to help you decide who to date again and you hand this into the hostess at the end of the evening. After 4 minutes the bell will sound and the men move around to the next table while the ladies remain seated. Your results are calculated the next day and sent to you via email so you can make contact with your new love interest straight away.

Love Speed Dating has a very high success rate of matching people at events so you will be in excellent hands. In fact, Love Speed Dating are so confident you will meet a match, that in the unlikely event you don't meet someone you like, your next event is on the house!
There will be a 20 minute interval at half time at around 9.00pm so you may top up your drinks at the bar and to mingle before the dating carries on for the second half of the evening.
Meet and mingle in the bar from 7.30pm to 8.00pm, dating starts at 8.00pm sharp and with a break at half time will continue until around 10.15pm. Feel free to stay after the event and chat with the people you have met as the lively bar is open until late with a DJ, cool cocktails and dancing.
