Joe's expands it's empire of Southern Americana goodies Northbound to take up residency in Kentish Town.
Hailing influence and flavour from America's Deep South - the home of the cue, the pit and that oh-so-golden fried chicken - Joe's Southern Table & Bar is a space of old fashioned blues, rockabilly tunes and a dash of Northern Soul with that all important country twang. The basement houses the Jailbird Bar where the dark and mysterious drinking booths were once prison cells. You'll be chewing on corn and spittin' seeds at this prison themed joint.
Joe's has built a name for itself as a rockin' hot spot for everything booze and heart-stopping foods. Heavy on the bourbon and ryes, the drinks menu also sees classics to the tune of Juleps and Sazerac satisfying that Southern hospitality warmth. Foods include popular dishes from their Covent Garden branch: Devilled Eggs, Mac 'n' Cheese and Gooey Corn Spoon Bread, as well as a new creation for the opening of this Kentish Town plot - Sweet Tea Brined Gluten Free Fried Chicken.
