Translated into 'for the people' in German, Volk Club is something of a drum and bass staple in Brighton, found on the beachfront by Madeira Drive. 

Boasting the space for up to 300 hardened frolickers, Volks Club might not be the biggest late night clubbing spot on the strip, but what it does lack in size it makes up for it punchy party attitude. While clubbers can revel in their 60 strong basement room with its own bar or the main party room on the first floor, schmoozers looking for a little fresh air can also take to the covered seating area outside, which even boasts itself as a plush drinking spot during the Summer days.  

With over 15 years of late night antics under their belt, Volks Club know a thing or two about clubbing entertainment. With a soundtrack regularly shifting between dubstep, reggae, breaks and drum and bass, Volks Club attracts a truly varied crowd, and something of a 90s clubbing style. There's also live bands and a spot on the Great Escape roster to be found too.
