Description

There's a classic elegance to Porteño, where food and wine come inspired by the the kitchens of Argentina. Spearheaded by Ben Milgate and Elvis Abrahanowicz, this Surry Hills restaurant is recognisable by its chequered black and white flooring, dark wooden furnishings and dimmed date night lighting. 

Meat takes centre stage (in true South American fashion), with cuts prepared for all to see on a traditional parilla barbecue and an asado pit of fire. Those of you who lean more toward seafood and vegetarian dishes won't be left hungry as there is plenty on offer for them too. And to polish off the experience? The carefully curated wine list features an inviting selection of South American, Italian and American wines, while the private cellar features vintage finds and rarities you'll be willing to splash the cash on.
