The Soda Factory

Description

While 'Bobby's Boss Dogs' may look like a classic 1950s diner from the outside, head through the fake Coca-Cola machine and you'll find The Soda Factory, an illicit late night den of drinking and dancing.

The hidden door opens out into a cavernous venue, with stripped back plaster, old school memorabilia and flashing neon signs adorning the walls. With five nights of non-stop live music each week, there's never a dull moment at this quirky Sydney bar.

Staying true to its exterior, the food menu here is made up of American diner classics, from signature macaroni cheese to gourmet hot dogs and, of course, ice-cream topped soda floats. If you're after something a little stronger though, there's also a selection of nostalgic cocktails offering a modern twist on old classics. Our favourite? The Miss Me Marshmallow, a super sweet concoction made up of vodka, lychee liquor, raspberry puree and marshmallow syrup.
