Glide down the steps on Bond Street to find the deliciously opulent Maha, with its dark wood tabletops, mirrored walls, and suede banquet seating. The romantic Melbourne restaurant is the work of Shane Delia - you might recognise him from his MasterChef appearances - who has created a menu of sumptuous Middle Eastern dining. Dinner is a choice of two set menus, the big ‘Soufra’ and the even bigger ‘Tasting Menu’, both featuring the mouthwatering slow-cooked lamb shoulder, if you’re eating meat.
