Tucked away in Camberwell is one of Melbourne’s coolest beer bars. East of Everything may be a little mosey from the CBD - but for beer fans, it’s one for the bucket list.

Occupying a large space above cocktail plot BarNone, the spot mixes wooden floors, neon signage, and a white-tiled bar for a laid-back atmosphere. There are always 12 beers on tap - though the line-up changes regularly, with a spotlight shone on local producers such as Mountain Goat, Bodriggy, Boat Rocker, Quiet Deeds, and Sailors Grave.

Alongside quality brews, there’s a great list of wines and cocktails, with food in the form of quesadillas, burgers, and loaded fries to mop up some of that booze. If the sun is shining, head out to the upstairs patio, a slim, monochrome-tiled space with sliding windows that look out over the suburbs.
